The 4th of April 2022 marked a significant day in Ontario’s history as it crowned the day the iGaming market was officially regulated and therefore legalised. The regulation of gameplay procedures is also essential in maintaining industry standards set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and their player-first approach. With these in place, the iGaming industry in Ontario is positioned as a structured model and could even prove an example for other provinces in the country to follow.
