Google has launched a program that gives African university students free access to cutting-edge AI technology. Students can claim a year of Google AI Pro through a simple verification process on SheerID's portal.
What's Included in the Gemini Free Package
According to OMOLUABI trader's recent announcement, eligible students now have access to a comprehensive package that includes Gemini 2.5 Pro, Deep Research capabilities, and 2TB of Google One storage - all free for 12 months.
The program targets students in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. To join, students need to verify their enrollment through SheerID by providing their country, school name, personal details, and date of birth. Once approved, the AI suite becomes available immediately under their Google One account.
